Just curious where everyone is at now....not sure if I need to put DD down for bed earlier or not. I read the average amount of night-time for 12 month old babies is 11 and 1/4 hours and she's only getting 9.5-10.[Poll]

I have that problem. Used to be my goal bathtime and working on sleep by 7:30. Now it is around 8:30 because we are having too much fun.
We're in the same boat here. He's been so difficult to get to bed. Once he's in bed he's out, and you'd hope he'd sleep in, but nope. Internal clock says it's 6:30 at 6:30 every morning, no matter what.
I voted 11-12, but it's actually 12+. I need to put her down earlier because I've been waking her up in the morning (usually 12 hours after she went to sleep) because I need to leave for work.
On the weekend, she'll sleep 12.5 hours or sometimes more.
But I should mention that she hardly naps. She'll nap 1 hour max at daycare (sometimes as little as 30 minutes) for the entire day....so she needs the hours at night.
Everything I've read talks in term of total sleep during a 24 hour period- it doesn't really matter if it's at night or through naps. That's true for adults, too, since we have multiple sleep/wake cycles at night.
Sylvia sleeps about 10 hours at night and naps for about 2 hours during the day. She's not scheduled; that's what she does on her own, so I assume she's getting enough. She never seems overtired. She does take awhile to fall asleep at night, though.
IMHO, if LO is napping well, and doesn't seem tired or overly cranky, I wouldn't worry
