i have a question

in Attachment Parenting

my hubby and i used to co-sleep with our daughter in the early days because of her having colic, we don't anymore, she sleeps in her pack and play during the night. during the day especially right now i have her sleeping with me on the couch (im not asleep, im using my laptop) is it still considered attatched parenting then?

    There are no hard and fast rules for attachment parenting. If you're responding to your LO's cues and doing what works for you and your family (while maintaining balance for yourself - it IS one of the 7 B's after all), then in my opinion, that's attachment parenting.

    My daughter did not like bedsharing at all. I noticed and adjusted and she sleeps all night in her crib beautifully. I feel like that fits the spirit of attachment parenting. I usually call what we do "responsive" parenting because we're responsive to our children's needs.
