Weekly/Monthly Check-ins?!? ***TCC AND PAL BRIEFLY MENTIONED***

I really would like to try to do weekly or monthly check-ins to see were everyone is at. I know that alot of you are at different stages. I know we have a lot of new moms, moms like myself getting ready to ttc, moms who are trying ttc, and moms who are pregnant. I thought it would be good to share with each other where we are at. The only thing is I really don't know how to start this or if anyone has some ideas of how it should be presented. After my post yesterday if we could keep up-to-date on all of our moms. I value all our moms and love to hear about your journeys bc that is were our support for each other comes from.

Someone want to help start this?!?!

  • Thank you ladies for being willing to help!! Between the four of us it should be pretty easy to come up with questions and also help making sure to post every month. I thinking it would be easier to post monthly check-ins. What do you think? Would you ladies want to help with making sure there is a monthly or weekly posting meaning spliting the responsiblity?! The other issue is what format will used? I know I would like to ask questions however I want them to be directed towards all moms on this board no matter where they are on this journey. Would love your input. Thank you again for helping!!

I think these questions would be just normal posts in order to be directed to all on the board. Each check-in I would imagine would have a different question. And one question I have- would it be one checkin-in or a separate one for each PGAL and TTCAL? Just curious what you were thinking.

  • Just a thought- you should probably do separate check-ins for TTCAL, PAL & one directed at everyone. I know it is hard for some women to see the TTCAL stuff if they have a new loss. Also, if someone is TTC for a long time it can be hard to see PgAL stuff. This way they could avoid those posts if needed.

I would be happy to participate in a PgAL check-in specifically on the Loss board. I can't volunteer to be in charge of it though; I'm just not reliable right now and not always able to bump these days.

I agree- I hate to chime in and not be willing to help, I just don't want to volunteer and flake.  But, having been on this board a while now it seems like you could do 4 check-ins, you could ask the same questions in each to make it easier (maybe 1 question more specific to the group or something) but keep them in separate threads like wedded said so that people who can't read about PAL, TTC or any of it don't have to.  You could post them all at the same time so if you DO want to read them all you could.  Does that make sense? Haha, so basically you could just do 4 pretty duplicate posts, only difference being the title like "PGAL check-in" "TTCAL check-in" "General check-in" "PAL check-in.

I'm happy to help any way I can... just can't do the posts because I don't trust myself to do it regularly.

I also agree with this. I would say keep it to a monthly check in to start.

This is defiantly what would be good to do. Now my biggest problem is the questions.....any suggestions.
