Hi everyone. I've really been meaning to write up my birth story and post on here but we've been very busy lately. I had Aaron on May 25th. Last Tuesday, he started having seizures. I had seizures as an infant. The good news is, they have labeled the seizures as Fifth Day Fits. They tell us that they are benign seizures and he will grow out of them like I did. We spent several days at a children's hospital while they did tests on him. We got to come home yesterday and they have us giving him medication for it. He is still having seizures every 2-3 hours. The doctors tell us to give the medicine a few days to get into his system. Even though the doctors tell us these seizures aren't hurting him its really scary. Is there anyone else that has dealt with this or are dealing with this?

Never dealt with this but thoughts and prayers with you all. I can't imgaine how scary that is to watch your LO go through that. Hope the medicine kicks in soon!

I don't know anything about this so I'm completely useless but my T&P are with you and your family. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. I am sure he will be okay and you will look back on this as a thing of the past very soon!

I would be so scared too. I have no experience with this but I wanted to send some T&P for you and your LO. Hopefully the meds work soon and the seizures stop. Hugs.
