DD is sick and it's raining all week, so we're stuck in the house. I'm running out of things to do. We read and played with all her toys. Would love some ideas for indoor activities.
We rotate "busy" boxes. We have three boxes - noise makers, balls/stackables and textures. I rotate them every 2 days. I also create an obstacle course with the tube (the one they can crawl in), pillows, a cheapy pool with balls, his nursery ottoman and a house tent (from Ikea). If that doesn't work, we "chase" each other through the house.
I found a recipe on pinterest for how to make bathtub paint. You could put her bathing suit on, put a little bit of water in the tub and paint together.

Thanks, ladies! I already tried out some ideas. I started a Pandora station with early 90s dance music and we shook our booties. We also built a blanket fort. I'd like to try out the paint too. She can't have cow's milk, otherwise we'd do some painting with pudding. If I were brave I'd let her have at it with marinera sauce. She loves it, but I can only imagine the mess.
Re: Looking for indoor activities
I pull out new things for her to do:
pot w/ wooden spoon for us both and play drums
pull of couch cushions (DD loves to crawl over things right now)
maybe make a fort w a blanket
listen to music and dance
