menstrual like cramping?

This morning I have had menstrual like cramping, at 37 weeks today. I actually had my doctors appt this morning but I keep having them...anybody else experiencing these type of cramping and what could it mean?

Ive been having menstrual like cramping for almost 3 weeks now. It's horrible day in and day out. Ive done 3 NST's and it shows the cramping. The only good news is it's causing me to dilate and efface (3cm and 75%).. other than that.. I am just waiting.

I've been having them for almost two weeks. For me, they are braxton hicks contractions, sort of pre-labor. I have a feeling I'll be dealing with menstrual like cramps for another 3 weeks :-( I'm not happy about it.

Yes, I've had them on & off for the last 2 weeks, hoping it turns into the real deal any day now!

I had some after my stretch and sweep last week. It just means your uterus is preparing for labour, so its a good thing.

I've been having the same for the last 4 weeks.. the Dr. said it's my body's way of preparing my cervix and uterus for labor. As of last Wed, I'm 50% effaced and baby is at -3... heres to hoping my appointment on Wed shows some dilation!

This is also me exactly.....i was 3cm at 35w...

I had menstrual like cramping early last week, and my water ended up breaking on Wednesday afternoon. Here's hoping that means the end is near for you too!
