almost everything in the room is either DIY, refinished, or altered in some way. (everything except the curtains, glider, and chandelier) had so much fun putting this together! hope she loves it!!!

Before/After Armoire:
Re: Ultra feminine, but not overly pink nursery pics. :)
Holy crap, you win! Really amazing, and especially with all the DIY... I went with restored/painted/refurb furniture too, but my wimpy 3rd tri butt had it done by a local antique dealer in town. And kudos on the wall color.. took me three weeks just to commit to a shade of cream!
The chair is made by little castle and I purchased it from babybrowns.com, and the fabric is called ophelia dove which sadly does have an upcharge.
The chandelier is from gallery74.com and was from the <$99 category though!
thank you! i really love the wall color too. i've already transferred the leftover paint from the can (with the paint name color on it) into a plastic bottle for long term storage, so i can't tell you the name. sorry! i will tell you i had intended to use a color called "Slate" from Restoration Hardware as it looks gorgeous on the walls in their store. however, when i got the swatches home, it took on a very chocolate look and i didn't want the walls to appear brown at all. it was tough to find a color that was all gray without being too cold, but we're super happy with this one.
for anyone struggling with wall color choices, here's a tip: i take home 3-4 swatches of paint colors i like(sorry paint retailers!), tape them together really tight to create a larger swatch and tape them to the wall for a week so i can walk by them at various times of day with different levels of sun/rain to see it in all different light.
thanks! i'm glad you like it. i posted pics of the nursery on pinterest and got lots of people repinning the mobile so i did actually write up some basic instructions. you can find them here, but feel free to message me if anything is unclear.
good luck!

hi! i actually started painting a blank canvas and at the same time we were starting our basement buildout... as in a full on construction project and things got a little crazy, so the painting was coming along slower than i liked. it was going to be sort of the opposite of this... pink background (using the same paint as the nightstand) with a charcoal grey/black evening dress with curves.
however, i was out at Home Goods and found this dress painting. the dress was white with greenish and grey undertones, so i just went over the dress with pink paint.
they had several other variations as well, most of which were black dresses though. hope that helps!
Thank you!
I love your nursery! It is gorgeous! Where did you get your curtains?
thank you so much! and thanks to everyone for the nice comments.
The curtains are from ikea believe it or not. they're super heavy weight and very luxurious and i don't typically think of ikea as super high quality, but i actually designed the nursery around these curtains. they were expensive for ikea, but cheap for nice curtains. i think $50/pair.
