Starting Again!

Hi All!

What a great support community this is- I am excited to be part of it!

Here is my story: My husband and I had troubles conceiving in 2009/2010- we never were classified but I had a short luteal phase. After 6 failed clomid cycles (3 with IUI), we were successful with our first Gonal/IUI cycle with acupuncure. I had a beautiful son born late 2010.

 In early 2012, we were scheduled to begin treatments again and found out we conceived naturally :). After a few beta tests that showed increases we were due back for a 7 week ultrasound. Unfortunately, when we went for the 7 week ultrasound, we found out there were twins but neither had heartbeats. We had to go back a week later for a retest (longest week of my life).. Neither had developed or had heartbeats.  I miscarried. On valentines Day. We opted for misoprostol rather than the D+C. It took over 10 weeks for my HCG levels to get back to negative (every week getting the beta test was another dagger), we couldnt start treatments until we were back to 0.

Two weeks ago I went in for my HSG to start treatments and a mass in my endometrium was found. A day later,  I went in for surgery to have the mass removed and it was determined it was a non-cancerous polyp.  Cycle was cancelled.

 Next cycle we will be starting again with Gonal-F and IUI. And so the journey continues...

And so the journey continues...

    I am very sorry to hear about your loss.  I hope that you have a successful cycle coming up!  Lots of luck to you!
    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    • FET #2 --July 2014  BFP!  ---  EDD  4/5/15

    Me: 32, DH: 34  / TTC since February 2011 / SA: all normal, HSG: all clear! / on Lovenox for anticardiolipid antibodies
    4 IUIs with Clomid, Letrozole, and Menopur. All BFN.
    9/12: lap / hysteroscopy: found and removed mild endometriosis, cervical polyp, and 2 para-tubular cysts
    5/13 IVF #1: Follistim, Menopur, Ganirelix, 10R/4M/4F, ET of 2, 5 cell and 4 cell, no frosties = BFN
    12/13 IVF #2 = November / December 2013. Microdose Lupron Protocol: 15R/6M/6F, Froze all 6 due to high E2 and P4
    FET 1: Jan 22, 2014 of one 4AB blast and one 3BB blast (3 blasts on ice!)
    BFP on HPT 4dp5dt, Beta #1 9dp5dt: 310, Beta #2 11dp5dt: 899
    First u/s on 2/17/14: TWINS!!!!! both w/HBs of 114 at 6w3d, HBs 150 and 152 at 7w5d
    5/27/2014: Team purple!!!!  EDD 10/10/2014 / 
    Delivered by c-section at 32w0d 8/15/2014 due to preeclampsia/HELLP syndrome
    Baby Boy 4lbs 1oz, 17 inches
    Baby Girl 3lbs 5oz, 16 inches

     July 2012:IUI #6 on 7/28, BFP on 8/9,beta 97, 8/11 189, 8/13 400!!   DS born 4/18!
    9/30/13 - Miracle BFP, released from RE 10/21, EDD 6/6/14, DD born 5/27!

    Thanks- I got my period Sunday so first baseline ultrasound tomorrow.
