C-Section scar 1 year later

Well, I had my c-section in May 2011.  I figured by now it would have lightened up, but it hasn't.  I didn't do anything special with it because I usually don't scar with injuries and such.  However, my c-section scar is STILL bright purple.  (and unfortunately it is above my pubic hairline). 

Can anyone recommend anything to help me out at this point, or am I just screwed and stuck with this bright purple scar forever.

    I have a classical (lateral from emergency c/s) incision and mine is still very purple as well. There is no way I can hide this sucker, but I don't feel the uge to hide it anyway.
