DH is gonna LOOOOOOOOVE me!

Since DH's man room is our 3rd bedroom, he's losing it to the new baby.  We've sold all of the furniture that was in there, so all we have left to sell is his big screen TV (and then I get the lovely task of boxing up all of his signed sports memorabilia...yuck).  The money from selling everything is earmarked for a new flat panel television for our living room (that's the trade-off...he loses his room but gains a better TV).  Anyway, I told him we couldn't buy a new TV until he sells his old one.  DH wasn't happy about this because of all of the TV deals today, but I insisted.  Little did he know I had money stashed away that, combined with what we got for the furniture, was more than enough for a new TV.  I wasn't sure I'd be able to get one because I wasn't about to drag DS out of bed at 3 a.m. to wait in line somewhere, but we scored a killer deal at Sam's...and we didn't go there until around 11 a.m.!

So when DH gets home from work tonight he's going to see his brand new 42" Vizio that's already hooked up over our fireplace and working beautifully.  He'll be upset with me for lifting it myself (it's right at 50 lbs, but I figure DS is 36 lbs so it wasn't that much more than I lift on a daily basis anyway), but he'll get over it!  Ahhh, I love black Friday!
