ballgame was a success

I'd post a few pictures, but still have issues with Photobucket (I am now convinced it hates me).

Stella did amazingly well and we did not have to leave the game early nor miss any of it except fo find food.  We did, however, miss the reitrement ceremony for Maggs as well as the ceremonial first pitch and the start of the first inning because of traffic.  While normally it doesn't take me but a few minutes wait to get off the expressway by Comerica, yesterday it was nearly an hour of just sitting on the expressway to exit.  I don't know if it was a combination of the game being a sellout, the Detroit Grand Prix was also yesterday, or what.

    aw, yay! I'm glad it went so well! Would love to see pics if you get them to work.

    I think there is just so much going on at things like that that LOs tend to do well, there is so much to look at, they don't get all bored and squirmy!

    I thought of you yesterday about noon and said, "Crap, I should have let her know to leave early because of the race."  At that point though I figured you were already on your way.  Sorry about that.  I'm glad Stella did so good!  Did you take a stroller with you?

    yeah...we left the house at about 11:30 and sitting a mile from the exit by 12:15. Didn't take a stroller (dh used his becco carrier) but did see a lot of strollers of all shapes and sizes there. In my opinion though, i think there were just too many people at the game yesterday to be able to navigate smoothly with a stroller.
