Audrey repeated "Thank You" this weekend. She doesn't say it on cue or purposefully, but it was still exciting to hear it. It was more like "Taaank--oooo" but you get the idea.
She's quite the babbler actually. She has been really good at mimicking us in general. She does not sound like she is saying what we are, but you can tell she's trying. The inflection and amount of syllables is often spot on.
Lamar will repeat the "ba" sound like when I say ball. It's the first sound he has repeated (besides ma ma and da da). Usually when I try to get him to repeat he just smiles at me
He also moved to the 1 yr toddler class today ...yeah!

DD just started mimicking me when I make monkey noises (oh oh ah ah), lol. She still does not say any actual words besides mama and dada yet, though.
She has started doing things when I ask, as opposed to randomly on her own, like clapping, waving, and putting things into my hands when I ask her to give something to me.
She can put her stacking rings onto the peg now on her own. She used to just take them off and bang them around. She can also stack her stacking cups all together in the correct order.
She's still just cruising around, but she did take some steps while holding onto my hands today, which was too cute!
DH: 34/Me: 35 Married: Feb 2008 DD: June 2011 TTC# 2: April 2014 BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!!
Ty is walking!!! Not a lot, but he's still doing it. He can take about 6 steps, and definitely still prefers crawling, but it's only a matter of time. He started walking on Thursday, so I imagine that being at DC again will help make him more comfortable with it.
Logan is full on walking!! He was taking a few steps here and there for a week or two...but it went from that to really walking over night!
He also will bring me books to read from the other side if the room.

We had the sprinkler on low for him to play in yesterday evening. He would take the little cups he was playing with and use the sprinkler to fill it up, then drink it. Not really a milestone, but it was cracking me up.

Kimbo, your child is a total overachiever! Not only is she ridiculously cute but she practically crawled out of your womb and now talks like a pro. I'm thinking Olympic athlete in the making maybe? Or president. She's making our other June babies look like slackers!
Avery started taking steps this weekend. She's getting more confident and will take like 7 or 8 wobbly steps in a row. She also loves to dance. Any toys with music are fair game!

I swear it's not like that. She comes from a long line of talkers. lol. The people she sees the most are talkers. When she was newer, I swear she would study our lips a lot when we talked. She loves the sound of her own voice. It's not like we have real conversations though.
Lexi has been able to drink out of her little straw cups forever but not out of a long adult straw. Yesterday at her softball game she had it in her mouth and I said "Too bad she can't drink out of that one!" and next thing, I turn around, and she's doing like she's been able to her whole life.
I swear she understands me when I say "she can't do that" and then does it just to make me look silly!
DS said his first word last week that had any meaning, it was doggy! So cute. He hasn't said momma or daddy to us with meaning though. Boy loves his doggies.

Ha, Evelyn is the same way. I used to let her play w/my camelback water bottle w/the bite valve b/c I didn't think she could drink out of it....it took her like a day to figure it out.
And at her 9 mo dr visit I told the nurse I didn't think she was waving yet and then Evie proceeded to wave at her through the whole exam.
Rylee is officially walking! She's been taking steps here and there for about a month, but decided yesterday was the day to put it together. She was walking all over the house, and I guess it was tiring because she slept so good last night lol. My baby is growing up!
Maya is full on walking now! She walked most of the way home from the park yesterday while holding my hand- it's only a half a block or so but it was seriously cute.

O is now saying "Hi" when we open the door or when someone comes in a room that she is in. She even waves as she says hi. She also is in love with dancing.

I think the newest thing Mila is doing is following certain directions, and a couple of new signs. (She already does the signs for "more" and "all done.") When I ask her if it's time to eat (along w/ the sign for "eat"), she'll sign "eat" back at me and walk over to her booster chair so I can get her in it. And now she'll sign "cup" for me when she wants water. She'll also open and close things on command now. Often times that means I'm asking her to close something that she wasn't supposed to open in the first place, but still. haha. She also now knows how to help me put laundry from the washer to the dryer. (We have front-loaders.)

Same here. A is now moving her hand side to side to wave, instead of just curling her fingers, and says Hi. It is so cute when she dances in her high chair.
For a baby that didn't start crawling until 11 months, she really is moving along now. She doesn't sit for long. She must be standing :P

Cammie walks a ton and babbles constantly (I think she's speaking some language from Star Wars).
Our happiest bragging point is singing the cleanup song in the bathtub and she puts her toys away Which is good, b/c I was going to break my neck on those sponge things any day now.

Claire is talking so awesomely!! picking up soo many words! She already says, mama, dada, pete, ava, dog, down, done, bye, book, nana, papa, no and i am sure i am forgetting a few. She also says more.
The new thing this week that i am so proud of is her signing. I have been religiously showing her the same few signs since she was 3 months old (just so she would get familiar seeing them). Well she started talking before she was signing. And actually, she RARELY will do the sign. She will wave and blow kisses and all of those hand movements. Well FINALLY this week she started doing her "more" sign and saying more as she does it. Its sooo freaking cute!! i got teary eyed when she did it bc its what we have been working on forever!!!!
She still isnt walking alone, but i think she is close. She is more vocal I say than anything.. She is extrememly mobile and i think if she really wanted to walk she could, but she is just chill with hanging onto things for now!
