On Friday, June 1st... after a long weekend of swollen ankles and awaiting my period, I decided to take a home pregnancy test in the afternoon after work. It was positive! A very quick and dark positive line! That evening, my boyfriend and I went to dinner and I shared the news. When I asked how he felt about this unplanned surprise, he shared that he was nervous and excited.
All weekend we talked about baby and even started discussing plans for the nursery and how we are going to tell our friends in a few weeks. As much as we both want to go into more detail and really start planning for baby, we are scared that something will go wrong. This is a first child for both of us so we want to be excited but feel as if we have to hold it back.

I say go ahead and be excited. Living in the moment and cherishing that today your are pregnant should help drive the excitement.
I think we're all a little nervous that so many things could go wrong. Worrying about those things won't help any.
I'm just enjoying every second of this!
I agree with this, try to live in the moment as much as possible and enjoy this special time.
