First night without LO

LO is 7 weeks old today and he's spending the night with my grandparents! It feels weird without him here and I miss him more than I thought I would. He's like on my mind every few minutes and I have to keep reminding myself that I don't have him to check on lol. He's obviously doing well or I'd be getting a phone call from my grandma, or a text or Facebook post. I hope he's being a good baby! (:

    I haven't had that separation anxiety yet but just remember, little one is with people who love him and will take good care of him.

    Hope you enjoy a nice night to yourself.

    I hate leaving my babies and have left DD1 a total of three nights. But a nice night's sleep does sound very enticing.

    My sister kept my son for us when he was 6 weeks old. (She kept him the night before our wedding so we could get a good nights sleep) and as soon as we left him, I was texting her and asking my hubby if we could just go back and get him! I felt so bad because Daddy and I were instructing my sister on how to care for him like she had never seen a child before (She has 2 kids of her own!) My cousin also kept him the night of our wedding and I felt a little less of the separation anxiety that night. It was really nice to be able to have a good nights sleep but man, I missed that little boy something fierce!
