Further testing

I'm calling in my CD 1 tomorrow to the doctor and I'm going to let them know I'd like to do an unmedicated cycle.  However, I'd also like to ask what further testing can be done.  So far I've had my progesterone levels checked, thyroid checked, and an STP.  What else?  I'm wondering if I should have a CD 3 done to check those levels. 

Anyway, thoughts?  Ideas?  Things I should ask for?  I know I've had more testing done but my brain doesn't work anymore.

    CD 3 testing would give an idea of your ovarian reserve.  How about DH, has he been checked out?  I have had several losses, so I also had the full coagulation disorder work-up.  

    Not sure what STP is..  Is that some sort of imaging, like a hysterosalpingogram?

    BFP #2 6/2010, DD lost to     congenital heart disease, we are heartbroken.

    TTC #2 4/2011, diagnosed MTHFR, FVL
    Four natural cycles BFN; Clomid IUI BFN; Follistim IUI BFN;
    1/2012 IVF #1 BFN
    4/2012 FET BFP #3
    5/2012 7w1d u/s: anembryonic demise; M/C @ 8w.
    6/2012 found Stage II/III endo on laparoscopy, removed w/ laser.
    8/2012 IVF #2 epic fail: no viable embryos.

    Vacation, break, second opinions, on to new RE.
    1/2013 Surprise chemical pregnancy BFP #4 (break cycle), IVF #3 postponed.
    2/2013 TI w/ hormonal support, prednisone, aspirin, Lovenox, acupuncture gave us a miracle BFP #5!
    Heartbeat on U/S at 6w1d!     Baby,please stay!!
    Our miracle baby boy arrived 10/2013!  We are so in love!!

    10/2014 Surprise BFP #6
    Our second daughter arrived in May 2015!  We are so grateful!

    At this point you're still unexplained IF?  I'm in the same boat.  I haven't had some of the tests you mentioned but I did do the dye test to make sure my tubes weren't blocked.  I opted to have a laparoscopy in a couple weeks, in order to rule out anything else that might be going on.  I'm still waiting to make sure my insurance is going to cover it.  They don't cover any infertility costs but my Ob/Gyn put it in with the diagnostic code for endometriosis.  Hoping that works!
    DD conceived naturally in 2009.  TTC #2 since August 2010.  Praying for guidance as we decide what's next.

    I am still unexplained. An STP is a saline tubal profusion, like an HSG but with saline instead of dye.  DH is all good.

    I was definitely going to ask about egg reserve.  CD 1 was yesterday, which means I'll have to go tomorrow... hopefully I can work something out!!!  It's the last week of school, so that makes it tough.

    Good Luck, Weez! Let us know how it turns out.

    We are taking a break this month too and DH is getting tested this week. I think I've been tested for most other things but we are still unexplained as well so I'm going to ask them if there is anything I'm missing. It's really frustrating but it's been kind of nice to be on a break for now!

    I agree that you should have you CD three levels checked out.  
    Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
    DH: 31, no issues
    4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
    7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
    8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013

    FSH, HSG, Prolactin. I also had karotyyping done and a RPL panel.
