We are home..Wesley had surgrey on his leg.

We went to the Pediactic surgreon today. He scheduled Wesley for Outpatient surgrey. They put him to sleep, gave him an IV, and cut open his abscess. Doctor said he is really shocked that Wesley even put any pressure on his leg b/c of the amount of pus his leg had. His leg is all wrapped up. Doctor said it is a long and deep wound. We have to pull out the gauze tomorrow afternoon and then wrap it up. The wound with heel itself and the cut should be unnoticeable in 6 months to a year. Little man was a trooper..I was so nervous. Thankful DH was able to leave work when we found out he was going to have surgruey. Thanks ladies so much...got to go...

I'm dorry that your little man had to have surgery. At least you know that he wasn't in any pain and this way the doctor could get in and out and not have to "fight" him. I hope he is feeling better.
