So pregnant friend #1 of 4 gave birth on Friday. I've been dreading this day for several months now, only because I had no clue how I would respond to being around a baby (I hadn't been around a single one since my loss).
I got off work early, put on my BGPs and headed to the hospital. I had one small crying incident on the way there, but nothing too major. Was one of the first in our group of friends to get to the hospital, so I got put on baby holding duty for 45 minutes! And honestly, I handled it SO much better than I thought I would! I cried once, but it was really more because someone asked how our IF testing was going.
Then, being the good friend that I am, I volunteered to help clean up the new momma's house. It seriously took nearly all of Saturday to do (the house seriously looked like something out of Hoarders), and the worst was trying to get the baby's room in order. I did have to step out a few times just to gain my composure, but thankfully there was no crying.
And now, I have volunteered (seriously, it's like I'm trying to make myself have an emotional break-down) to go over Wednesday to cook dinner for them. Also, DH hasn't met the baby yet (he was OOT until Saturday night), so I figured we would have to see them sometime this week anyway, may as well be nice and make myself useful. Luckily, we have somewhere we have to be at 8, so we shouldn't be there too long.
Phew, so glad this weekend's over!

BFP #2 04/25/12 EDD 01/04/13(?) confirmed ectopic 05/16/12 6 wks 5 days 2 doses of MTX-Lost left tube on 05/25/12 Back to TTC, earlier than originally expected.
