Eeee! Good luck! I think I will be trying the breast pump tonight. Maybe. Im a wimp :: goes and presses pressure points in hands instead::
I've been pumping for the past three days! It's kind of a hassle time wise, and so far hasn't really done anything contraction wise, but I have managed to pump 6 oz of colostrum! I am pretty happy about that because it will give DH a chance to feed and bond with LO during his short time off.
3 days overdue! Trying not to get induced! Wish me luck! I will keep you updated!
Yes, brave indeed, I have been thinking about this, but can't force myself to do it. DH is away on military duty this weekend or else I really might consider it.
I already did it. After a brief bout of nausea I am feeling frighteningly ok. I don't think this is going to work. Although in all of the "success" (and I use that term loosely) stories I've heard, nothing happens for around 24 hours. I took the recipe that another bumpee posted in an earlier post.
I had 2 tbsp of castor oil mixed with a very strong (3 bag) red raspberry leaf tea, mixed with some orange juice and ginger ale.
My friend used castor oil to try to induce her labor when she was almost two weeks overdue. It took a couple of days before it kicked in, and she was pretty miserable before it did (and after because she was tired from being sick).
