NBR: Did you keep or toss your wedding cards?

Of course we are in the process of a major cleanout (especially since we live in a 2 bedroom condo in the city) and I went through a box today with all my wedding stuff. I have a box of over 200 cards from my wedding and showers. We got married 6 years ago.

I feel bad recycling these. What has everyone done with their cards?

I still have them. A lot of people wrote personal messages, and I think it will be something nice to look back on one day. Plus they are just in a plastic box with the rest of my wedding stuff, so they aren't really taking up any extra room.

Still have- but will toss. Just kept notebook with amount each couple gave us.

I threw mine out about 2 weeks after my wedding because we moved from an apartment to our new house and I just didn't know what to do with them. I read through them all again, had a good cry, kept one or two from my Grandmother and our parents, then threw them out. It was hard but I am glad I did it. Always feels good to purge.

I kept mine bc we didn't have a guest book (long story). But I've only been married 8 months....who knows how long I'll actually keep them.

I kept mine and will use them in the next couple of months when I scrapbook for my wedding. I'm already married, but I will finally have time to sit down and work on it. I did the same for my wedding shower.

Tossed right after thank you cards were written. I knew if I kept them they'd just sit in a box, never be looked at, and just get tossed down the road. Might as well do it sooner rather than later.

I have them in a box. I'm not sure what I'll really do with them but couldn't throw them out.

i kept mine and I've looked through them a couple of times in the 3 years we've been married. we had a small wedding though so there are only about 20 cards. they don't take up much space at all for us.
