I have a lump under my skin on one side of the incision. It's not too painful. This is my second section. I have my six week check to tomorrow, so ill ask my OB. Did anyone else experience this? TIA
Yes, I had this with DD. My doctor told me it was either a stitch that was causing it or some fluid build up behind the incision. She told me that it will go away on its own.
I have a slight lump to one side this time and can actually feel the stitch poking out of my incision. Not worried about it as I was in the ER due to some severe pain I was having last night (worse than the c-section itself) and the ER doctor said my incision looked really good. My pain on the other hand was horrible but I was told that it was most likely fluid build up or due to me moving wrong or a nerve getting twisted in with scar tissue. Again I was told the lump was normal.
I have a lump where they tied it off. It was quite a bit bigger when the stitches were there but it never fully went down. If I toned things up I'm sure it would help but over all it's probably scar tissue.

I'm lumpy around the area too and my gyn told me that it's scar tissue. She also mentioned that it's there to stay. ugh...
