Giselle will be 14 months old next week, I can't even fathom calling her a toddler!!! When do you consider a child a "toddler"? Maybe I am still holding on to the word "baby" because she is growing up so fast. She is still a baby, right?
So tell me....do you refer to your LO as a "baby" or "toddler"?
Re: OK, April Mamas, Do You Consider Your LO a Toddler Yet?
it's weird.. she's so big compared to the "babies" at day care but so small compared to the "toddlers"... however, she is going into the toddler room this month, so I guess she's a toddler

Nicki....Giselle will be moved to the toddler room soon too. I just wanna cry!
Cynnabun....I still say things like "is the baby asleep?" too! I just can't say "toddler" yet....
Chase is not really walking yet, though he took 8 steps last night. There are times I look at him and see a baby and times I see more of a toddler. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be calling him my Baby Boy when he gets married!
This. Amelia has technically been a toddler for the past three months when she started walking independently. Owen only recently started walking independently more often than crawling. So, yes, they are toddlers but we still say, "the babies need to eat", "one of the babies is stinky", "which baby is up first?". We called our oldest "the baby" for a while. I can't remember when we stopped. Probably about age 2 or so. Then he was Little Man and now he's "the big one". Lol

Me too. She's still a baby compared to her big sis who is 3.
All of this!!!
