Help books? and an intro.

Hello everyone call me Red. I am planning a midwife birthcenter for my second birth. I had a hospital pain med stalled birth with em. The short version of her birth. I when in on my due date with contraction every 4-5 mins lasting 1-2 mins but I was handling them too well for the nurses and I wasn't changing on their time line so I must not be in labor and was told of I didn't have any change in the hour they would send me home. 10 mins later my water broke my contractions piggy backed to the point that there was no time to rest between them and they wouldn't let me out of bed. I progressed rapidly till the point they put in the epidual. And then nothing no pain no change. 12 hours later I pushed out my 8.5 pound baby girl without any tearing. Then 12 hours later I was finally able to walk on my own again. I never want that experience again. So I found a midwife who I love and trust to help me deliver my second child out of the hospital. Away from the epidual pushing nurses and doctors who give you meds you didn't want because your baby could die from the fact your water broke 12 hours ago even tho you have no signs of infection. I couldn't find true natural birth classes in my area with em and have asked my midwife for class info but well she is busy with births right now. So I come to you my fellow NB mamas. Is there so better than other book you could recommend? So I can get a head start and start feeling empowered to do this now. Thanks for any advice too.

Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, Hypnobirthing (The Mongnan Method) and The Birth Partner are all helpful books to read. Just know that your body was designed to do this and your past experiences will not determine the future.
