With not really needing any of the big stuff this time around, DH really hasn't been into shopping or preparing for baby at all yet. Now that we know he is a he I've been chomping at the bit to get his room started and buy him some clothes. I finally found a few thing that would be seasonally appropriate on the clearance rack at baby gap. Serious score and I feel so much better and more like this baby is really coming home with us in a few months. It's so different the second time around!

Re: My baby won't be naked :)
This post seriously makes me feel so much better than I did yesterday.....when I bought LO his own 3 packs of hangers at Target-my first purchase! I have a list of new things we want this time (New carrier-Ergo?, double stroller, new tub, replacement burp cloths, washcloths, maybe some new clothes too) but I have yet to do anything with regards to this little guy. All of our "big stuff" was gender neutral since we were Team Green, then DS turned out to be a boy and so is this one, so we are more than set on things.
DH was a snail last time getting things together for the baby and I remember having more than one tearful breakdown about how we weren't "ready". He did get his butt gear finally and we were ready for DS when he came. My only saving grace on this matter is that
a) I'm a teacher and now I am off for the summer so I will start some of this process
b) I'm hoping this 3rd tri nesting will kickin soon
c) I understand that a lot of this is just "stuff" and all LO really needs is some clean clothes, a place to sleep when he gets here and some diapers-at least for a little while
Haha! Not at all! His room was a storage area/ guest room for the last two years while we were finishing our basement. We did start moving some stuff out and organizing last night so hopefully soon we will be able to transition the crib over and start painting etc.
I know it will all get done and there is still some time but I needed to have some stuff for him to make it more real, how every crazy that might sound. I love having little boy stuff in my house now
