I love mine but I haven't ever used anything else. It is pretty much the only thing I can use that will get the frizzies out of my hair. If I don't use it, my hair looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket.
I think so. I worked for my friend one summer, who owns a salon and used hers. It gets so much hotter and smooths your hair so much better than any of the cheap ones.
I super PPH my Chi. I bought it the day before my husband was offered the job in Amsterdam. So sad. I brought it here thinking MAYBE an convertor would work. No such luck so I have a pretty camo pink Chi sitting in a closet that I can't use to two years. Bummer. BUT in answer to your question YES it is worth it. The cheapo one I bought over here stinks.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and YES!!!!!!!!!!
My hair is naturally curly and nowadays I can do it in 30 mins (very long) as opposed to an hour b/c I don't have to blow dry it first (I just put it in a braid for like 16 hrs and it is damp but not wet. Than I just get my chi and do it section by section. I had a plain flattening iron and it just would burn my hair so I couldn't use it like I use my CHI.

Yes they really are. I am currently using a $70 or so flat iron from the Beauty Supply because my Chi died a while back and I needed a iron and we didn't have the money.
I have craptastic curly/spiral curls/wavy thick frizzy hair and it always worked on my hair. If you have the extra money to spend on one I recommend it hands down.
