DD just turned down my bedshare request...

DD has had a hacking cough all day and is just generally not feeling great. I usually let her sleep with me when she's sick. So I just asked her if she wanted to come to my bed tonight after getting her pj's on and she said no, because all her dolls won't fit in my bed and she wants to sleep with them tonight. (It's almost 10pm here, by the way.)

I'm a little sad.

    awww... I'm sorry! maybe you could borrow one of her dolls. ;)

    awww..some moments are hard when they feel so grown up.  There have been so many moments in the past month where I am thinking "my baby is getting so old."  It is bittersweet.  I find myself loving parts of this age, but feeling sad that time is going so fast.  Gee...I don't think our kids are even toddlers anymore  Crying
