Has this been discussed? What do you think about the bump adding a board for Dads? Do you think DH or SO will join?
Personally, I think it is a nice idea, but I don't think DH will ever join. I just can't see him as an active poster on a message board, that is not his style.

I can't help but picture women pretending to be men on that board.
Someone said hello by typing "yo". Someone else said "I'm here for the gangbang"
These have to be trolls. Or not. Who knows?

This!
I saw it the other day - and thought "That's nice" next thought "A new place for women to stir up drama"
I'm not telling DH about it - even if he would be interested...TB is mine, I don't want him reading over my shoulder - even though everything I put on here I make sure it would be ok if he read it.
This. He would never do it.
I'm torn about this. DH looks over my shoulder so much when I'm bumping that I think I would never get him off the boards - and LO does not need both parents addicted to TB! But then again he's more of the type to read something and then talk about it rather than actually participate in the online discussion.
I don't think I'll tell him about the board because I like my bump time, thank you very much!

Basically he said that it was stupid that the trolls were making fun of the dads that stay at home. Even though he works he was still pissed off by the moronic comments. Also he was hoping that it was going to be a guy only board. Not a board where girls stop by saying "Oh I am 40 and H is 45 help me convince him we need a baby" and "What should I get my H for being a 1st time dad".
I guess all he could think of was rather rude comments and so he decided instead of making people cry he would just leave lol.
Hahaha me too and his crazzzyyyy family:()
I havent checked out the board since I first noticed it there... man oh man (not litterally...) theres a lot of garbage going on there and the other boards picking on that board. For real some of those people are just outright rude!
I mean you're going to have input from girls I am sure (bc you really cant stop it) but I do feel bad that there are some men that really want the board to talk about manly baby stuff and all those women are creeping up on their space.
At first I though it was odd that they added a Dad's Board. I assumed most boards could be for both parents. Once I thought about it, I realized it would be nice for men to have a place to ask more specific dad questions since moms have "breastfeeding," "trimesters," etc boards.
There is no way my husband would join, however. He teases me about posting, so I don't think online forums are for him.
