I?m almost 32 weeks pregnant, and the baby is in a transverse position (lying across my stomach instead of head down). I?m hoping he turns head down soon, because this position is very uncomfortable as he?s growing bigger.
Has anyone had experience with a transverse baby at this stage in pregnancy and if so, when did he/she flip? I?m worried that as he gets bigger there will be less room to move, and hence less room to flip down.
Bonus points to anyone who can tell me how to add a ticker to my profile. The bump makes things so difficult sometimes.
TIA.
Re: Transverse position - when did baby flip?
I don't know about the OP, but I'm pretty sure mine is traverse most of the time right now. I can feel his head on left side (round hard thing, like a baseball), and the kicks are all on the right side.
we had an US today! He's head down and to the left. So, he goes diagonal-- bottom left is his head and his body comes across to the top right and his feet and hands are in the top left! I think hes always been head down really because ive always had the biggest kicks to the top right..
