Yup, I did and I do feel it helped the first few weeks.
This. I highly recommend it. I could definitely feel a difference when I took my pills. I had hoped it would prevent PPD, but with me it didn't. However, I had such a traumatic birth experience compounded by other personal problems at the same time that I don't think the pills stood a chance with prevention.
I did it with my second birth. I honestly can't say if they helped or not because my VBAC recovery was SO much better than my c-section recovery. To be honest the pills made me feel like I was on speed and I think I could have done without them. I think it is worth a try. I'm saving some for when I go back to work and weaning.
I did it and I will do it again with any subsequent pregnancy. I definitely noticed when I forgot to take them (no energy, VERY emotional, coping skills nonexistent). Plus, even though it didn't help with milk production (I have hypoplasia) and I had to switch to formula by 3 weeks, I think it staved off my period while I was taking them. It wasn't until I had gone down to 1 pill a day for two weeks that it finally came back.
I did and I absolutely recommend it. In fact, at least 2 of my friends have already done it based on my experience. It was very noticeable when I missed a dose - I was weepy, tired, and irritable. But the primary reason I looked into it was because I had a breast reduction in 2001 and wanted to do anything in my power to maximize my chances of breast feeding. Fwiw, I EBF and haven't had to supplement at all since I took the pills (I supplemented briefly in the hospital after my emergency c section).

I didn't my first time and had a rough time. I ended up on antidepressants at 7 months PP (as a last resort...it was bad). I'm planning to this time.

Thanks for sharing and great news about your breastfeeding success after a reduction. I'm trying to wait until after I finish having babies/breastfeeding to get mine done, but my back hurts so bad (especially now!) that I wish I had done it years ago.
I did it with the first, and plan to with the second. I have a family and personal history with depression, so I was very worried about PPD. I barely had anything that could even be described as baby blues.
