High Pelvic Arch = C-Section

I met with a new doc yesterday and she told me I have an "extremely high pelvic arch" and to "mentally prepare for a c-section". This is not good news to me, considering that I was planning on a natural childbirth. I've searched the internet and I'm not seeing anything that says this is an actual medical condition/c-section cause/etc. Do you think it's possible the doc is exaggerating or recommending something based on her own subjective opinion?

I've not even heard of that, guess you learn something new every day. And I would imagine it's probably her own preference, as are with most c-sections.

  • I've never heard of that either.  I'd be looking for a natural birth friendly doc or midwife, IMO it's never to late to switch.
