HELP!!! Not 3 months yet but....

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months
could my DS be teething?   He has been screaming for the past three days.  He has no fever or signs of being sick but he has been sticking his hands in his mouth and SCREAMING! Nothing seems to calm him down.  He has never cried like this and I am at a loss.  I also put in a call to the pediatrician and I am waiting to hear back. Thoughts???

    It is possible.  did anything else change?  My brother had two teeth by 3 months.  Do you feel hard spots on his gums?  Is he drooling more than normal?  I haven't been through it before.  I am sorry this is happening to you.  GL  I hope someone else has better advice.

    I would guess it is the 3 month growth spurt just showing up a little early.  DD was very fussy for a week or two right around 3 months and she wasn't teething but I wondered the same thing as she started drooling more and was fussier than normal.  How is your LO's sleep going?  It could also be over-tired if something is interfering with his naps and/or night time sleep.

    LO could totally be teething, esp with putting his hands in his mouth.  Ask the pedi?  Our LO started at 3 1/2 months.  Tylenol really helped calm her down and help with the pain.  Also, Sophie the giraffe was a big hit as well.

    He is drooling a lot! He has always slept really well at night and that really hasn't changed (yet).  This cry just sounds so different from any other cry.

    Took DS to the doctor.  Not teething...not anything.  Perfectly health just cranky and fussy. I am glad he is healthy but that also means the only cure is time. Awesome....

    My little man is about the same age and has LOST his mind this week.  I think it just a growth spurt and I am praying that is passes quickly.

    Glad he is healthy!  Sorry that it isn't teething so you don't know for sure what is going on. Hang in there!
