Any DC-area momma's out there?

Clara and I are taking a week long trip at the end of June to visit my sister who lives in Reston, Virginia. She said to think of things that we want to see/do while we are there, which could be in the area or in DC since we can drive there or take the metro.

 Any suggestions? TIA!

    Close to Reston are the Reston Zoo & Frying Pan Park. I've never been to Reston Zoo, but know several people who have taken their LO's and they enjoyed it.  Frying Pan Park has animals, a carousel and other things for kids.

    Burke Lake Park in Fairfax has a train and carousel. Also a nice trail around the lake. 

    If you want to venture to DC there is the National Zoo.
