Apparently not so effective for us! Um, wow... kinda in shock! I have no clue when this happened and/or how far along I am. My cycle has been anywhere from 14 days to 45 days. So I must be 4 - 6 weeks-ish. I took a test yesterday morning and I just didn't know if it was faulty or what so I just took a digital. Haven't told DH yet, I want to find a fun way. I had to tell somebody! Tell me it is going to be okay and that I will sleep again someday...
Re: The effectiveness of 'pull & pray' method...
Congrats! Happy and healthy 9 months to you!
Not very original but put a big sister shirt on dd and see how long it takes him to catch on? What made you decide to test? Symptoms or just a longer cycle?
I just saw you're from MI! I'm originally from MI.....I have family in Canton and Commerce twp.
Yay congrats! Sleep is for the weak.
(Is this the first "surprise" BFP?!)
Whoops and yay!!
The running joke among my friends (since 3 of them got pregnant using pull & pray) is:
Q: You know what they call people that use the P&P method?
A: Parents!
Conratulations! I vote for a "big sister" item, too. I don't care that some people find it clich?, I think it's cute. And I love the idea of waiting for people to realize what it means. If not, you could ask your hubby for something that you craved while pregnant and see his reaction?
And to answer Tuna
It's not. BetsyDavis had one some months ago. I think she's 8 months in now.
I think Tuna means the first surprise BFP after the vote about who would get the next one.
Congrats! "Big Sister" shirts are always cute.
Congrats and welcome to the club!
Yes this is what I meant. First since the voting.
I second the big sister shirt idea!
Thank you so much for the kind words everyone!
I am going to be pretty useless at work today. I keep dropping things and zoning out thinking about how we are going to need another crib, etc...
Bonitatinabina - I was sorta late or at least I thought I was having a really long cycle and then all of the sudden I got really sick to my stomach a few times this week and was like "well I guess I could just test to get it out of my head."
Yay for Michiganders! I live in the next town north of Commerce and I work 2 miles from Canton! What a small world, huh?!
Haha! This will be my new motto...
Oh sweetie, I've got three and another on the way. It just gets more and more fun. And yes, you'll sleep again someday, but since that hasn't really happened for me yet I'll be sure and let you know when it does.
Congrats!
