It used to me so much easier to give DD infant tylenol (actually it was pediacare). I had the dropper and it was the "old" infant drops. I'd stick the dropper in the side of her mouth squeeze & done! I actually think she liked the taste, too.
Now it's almost impossible! I hate the new concentrated liquid and the syringe style dispenser. It's so big that DD can easily push it out of her mouth, she ends up either gagging on the liquid or spitting all of it out (last night it ended up all over my shoe) - that's not going to help her teething pain!
Also, I think DD hates the taste of the Little Remedies (it smells pretty bad!) and I can't find the pediacare pain reliever sold anywhere near me!
Any tips on how to get LO to take a whole dose of pain reliever?
Re: Giving LO Medicine
This. I mix it in with her food.

This, but also DH and I pretend to take some of the medicine too. We pretend to eat it and say "yummy yummy." and Then we give it to LO for his turn to have some and it usual;ly does the trick.
Thanks for the tips everyone! I tried the apple sauce trick last night. But I used the Little Remedies brand & she only took a couple of spoonfuls (and made the "yucky face" the whole time!)
I'll try the mixed berry kind, hopefully a different flavor will do the trick.
