I guess I'm really having twins (and intro)

It took us quite a while to adjust to the big news when we found out we were having identical IVF twins a week ago. I think I was in shock or denial for quite a while. I'm finally coming out of my fog ... but still quite freaked out about having twins! But here I am, already outgrown all of my normal pants at 7w2d pregnant and sick as a dog

I guess I really am having twins!

Goldie_Locks_5 - they're sharing a placenta. It was actually pretty clear to see on the first u/s. At this point, it even looks like they could be sharing a sac, but we're very hopeful that a dividing membrane will show up on the next u/s as sharing a sac can cause all sorts of complications.

Congrats and welcome! My guys shared a placenta & looked like they shared a sac too. It took a while (and three U/S's) to find a membrane. This board will be a great resource to you.

Welcome to the board and Congrats!!! My boys shared a placenta, and it took about an hour at my 12 week ultrasound for them to find the membrane - talk about stressful!!! Good luck to you!
