Alaina's birth story

So the only reason I'm doing this now is because my phone is about to die, and everyone is sleeping. I was set for induction at 6 am on the30 th. They pushed it back to 8, but then all was fine. They started me on miso, generic for cytotec. After about an hour, I was contracting once a minute. I had back labor. By the time the 4 hours was up, I was only at a 3. We figured either sunny side up, or just bad position. They let me go on my own for the rest of the day. I settled into a good pattern. I got ambien at night, either I couldsleep, or ur souls make me progress faster. It made me sleep. In the morning,still back labor. They gave me nubain. We expected the anesthesia guys to be a while. I then got the epi. Back labor sucks! Eventually, it was time to push. She was sunny side up, and heart rate was going low with each time I pushed. C/s for me. She's perfect. I'll try to post pics later. Ps, my original plan was to go natural! I'm not sad, there were a lot of unplanneds, like induction, position, etc. Just glad her and I are healthy.:)
