Madison Jean is here!!!

Hey June mamas its another June bug that made an early arrival. As you might remember, Madi was breech so we had a c-section scheduled for 6/6.

This little one had other plans! Monday morning I woke up to horrible back pain and stomach cramps at 4:30. I know now that those were contractions but for some reason that morning I had convinced myself it was false labor. Around 6:00 my husband begged me to call my midwife because he thought I was in labor. I appeased him and my midwife agreed with him and told me to go straight to labor and delivery. I was so rediculous that I was actually angry that I didn't have time to straighten my hair before we left lol. We got to the hospital at 6:30. My MW confirmed I was in labor (2cm and completely effaced) with contractions 3 minutes apart and that Madison was still breech. She said we would be having a baby today and when I asked what time the c/s would be she said "o the doctor will be here by 7 so you should have a baby by 9". Those words were a reality slap in the face. The next hour flew by and at 8:02 Madison was born weighing 6 lbs 4oz and 19 inches long.

We are now home from the hospital and DH and I are loving every second with her
