this is starting to get on my nerves. Everyone I know has a prediction as to when they think my baby is going to come. Not only that, they keep saying things like "I told you it wasn't going to be early"...they ask for progress updates and regardless of what I say..I hear "oh I was like that for WEEKS...it doesn't mean anything"..ok so why did you ask???

 It seems like everyone I know feels the need to point out that not only do I have a week till my due date..but that they went over by 2 weeks and I'll likely be in that same boat. Well my doctor offered to induce me a week early due to my baby's size, and I declined...so stop telling me that you knew it was going to go over, it was my choice. And my doctor did say that she is going to induce me next week no matter what....so haha psychic friends but you don't "know" anything! lol

    I've heard the same thing from almost everyone I know. One person went over two weeks, another had both her boys 2 or 3 weeks early, another planned her c-section. There is absolutely NO way to predict when your baby and body will decided to make it happen. I just smile and nod.....lol

    Thank you for this! My family teases me relentlessly about how late my baby is going to be and how I should throw my due date out the window. It makes me incredibly pissy.

    On my end ppl say I am going to go early and that LO is going to be small. The doc could not measure her yesterday because her head is so low. Just because I am small, doesn't mean that she will be (babies run big in my family).

    I may go early, though, based on the cervical check yesterday...

    Mine is everyone saying "you're still pregnant" because they expected me to go early.  Hello, I'm not to my due date yet - my kid is perfectly okay where he is if he's not ready to come out yet, so stop trying to rush him/me!

    yes I've heard this too! lol like what is wrong with 40 weeks? lol and the hilarious part is when the same people that tell me I was going to go early..are now saying.."I knew it would be late"....it's like they keep making different judgements week to week just to be able to say "I knew it!" lol
