tail bone pain?

Last night I had another episode of EXTREME back contractions that wrapped around to the front.  I got out of bed - used the bathroom - walked around - stretched my back nothing was helping.  I started getting pain and pressure in my low low back which shot down to my tailbone.  Anyone else ever experience this?  After 2 hours everything stopped and I went back to sleep.  I have a Dr appt today - last week was 3cm and 75%.  I still think this baby is high, although I never dropped with the first (she was 8lbs 6oz and very very long). 

 Not sure what is going on, but this has been 5 nights like this.  I decided this morning that I am going to clean and vaccuum like crazy. If I already have a back ache and I cant get comfortable sitting I guess Ill just keep moving!

    DD1 was positioned face up, meaning the back of her head was pushing on my tailbone. Horrible pain! It was awful and I hope this one is not in the same position. I feel your pain and I'm sorry, but unless the baby turns, then you may just have to deal with it :(
