How faint were your early positive tests?

I got a squinter line on a Wondfo test yesterday and a slightly darker line this morning. I had a chemical pregnancy last month that started off the same way, and I'm afraid the same thing might be happening again. Sad

How dark were your early tests, and what dpo were you when you took them? Thanks!

I had a chemical in Jan and had a fairly good line on the day I expected my period. Then a few days later I had a negative test without a line at all.

For this pregnancy I had the same line at 4 weeks and it just got darker from there (yes, I took a lot of tests!)

With my Wondfo they started out so faint I could hardly see anything but they became a little darker with each test over the next three days. Took the digital and got a positive. 5 weeks now.

At 12DPO it took a few minutes for the line to show and when it did it was unmistakable, but faint. I took a FRER test that same day and got a darker line, so then I was convinced

I had a CP last month too. My lines were pretty light from the beginning but faded the whole week and were completely gone by the time I got AF. I started testing this month at 12 DPO, same as last month. This month the lines have started darker than last month and have gotten darker each day. It sounds like so far yours are getting darker as well, which is a good sign. Good luck!

I wanted to avoid the emotional guessing game so I tested the day I expected my period. The first test I took, Clear Blue non-digital, came back with a bright blue plus. Filled with excitement I went to Target and purchased another brand, First Response. I took that one Sunday morning and got two pretty pink lines. From what I've heard a line is a line.

I think a Congratulations is in order!

Using Wondfos, I had no line at all at night on DPO 9. The next morning, I had a "squinter line," as you call it. Later that afternoon, I had a light but obvious line. They proceeded to get just barely darker over the next week.

I took a digital as my first test and it said ppregnant but I still tested again for the next couple days and the lines were really light.

I had a squinter under florescent lines at first. The next day I turned a digital but my wondfo line was still really faint. 24 hours later my betas were 47. This Am (4 days after digital) my wondfo was a bit darker but still fairly faint. My last pg, I didn't get a really dark line on a wondfo until my betas got to about 500.

Getting darker is good, but don't put too much stalk into it.

I also used the Wondfo tests (i bought like 50 on amazon for like $15, cant beat it!), and 5days b4 my missed period it was so faint i couldnt tell if i saw anything, and then the next day (4days b4 m.p) i could see a faint faint faint line, almost so faint i thought maybe it was in me head and just wishful thinking. SO i went out and bought a First Response early detection test, and same thing VERY VERY faint, but then the next day and the next day it got slightly darker. And when i was 5days PAST missed period it was so dark it was darker than the control line. But the directions in the pregnancy test say, if you can see a positive line..no matter how faint, its a positive. So YAY!! Stay positive and hopefully it will all turn out well

I got no lines at 10DPO but faint lines at 11DPO. My DH wasn't convinced then bc they were so faint and he said he couldn't see them, but the digi and darker lines on wondfos convinced him at 12DPO. FX for you!!!

also, check out www.countdowntopregnancy.com It has pictures from actual people's test results, it breaks it down by brand and days past ovulation and all that good stuff. it gave me lots of hope when i got FAINT positives (so for ex: it will have Wondfo test strips, then it will have a break down of "6days before missed period/5days before missed period/etc....and then there will be a whole page of pictures of other womens wonfo test results at that stage, and whether or not it turned out to really be positive/negative) I LOVE this site! check it out

10 DPO and 12 DPO were pretty faint...

I waited until 18 DPO (2 days after my period was to start) to test again and the line was very dark.

12 DPO could hardly see the line

13 DPO line was there but pretty faint

14 DPO line was dark

I got my first BFP at 10dpo and it was very light. The next 2-3 days pretty much looked the same, maybe a bit darker but hard to tell. It was not until 14dpo or so that I could tell a real difference in the lines from the previous ones. I kept taking them and when you lined all of them up, from 10dpo until 18dpo, there was a progression for sure. My test line was not as dark as the control until 17 or 18 dpo. It's just hard to see the difference early on. I also had a cp and I know how frusturating the first few days are. You should be able to know more in the next couple of days. Hopefully the lines keep getting darked for you! I would not be discouraged at all with light lines now, I think that is totally normal!

My best suggestion is to wait until after you've missed AF especially since you've had a CP before. I tested 2 or 3 days before my missed AF (about 10 or 11 dpo) and it was clearly positive.

I tested at about 14 dpo and still had a pretty faint line, but it was noticeable.

I only took the one test. Then went and got my blood drawn a few days later to confirm.

I got my first positive test at 12 DPO...it was BARELY THERE faint...it didn't start getting noticeably darker until 16 DPO...around 18 DPO it was very dark

I stressed like a freak over the darkness of my lines...I get where you are coming from! For me, rising Betas = darker lines...also, I got darker lines in the evening.

I tested once every AM and every PM and kept track of them by labeling them with the # of the DPO and either AM/PM...that really helped me to see the lines getting darker

I have to switch brands now, though, since I'm out of Wondfo tests. I hope the new brand shows two nice, dark lines.
