I failed my 1 hour glucose test yesterday & I also have to take iron pills now.  Kinda pretty bummed out right now.  Onto the 3 hour test I guess.  I think I will try to get into a quest lab on Satuday & get it over with.

    I'm sorry Christina! Hopefully you will be one of the many that goes on to pass the 3 hour just fine. Most people do! If you happen to be one of the "lucky" ones with GD then you know I am here for you to walk you through any of it, it's really not so bad. But I have faith that you will pass just fine! 

    I also have to take iron pills - did the recommend any? I take generic Slow-Fe and I haven't had any issues with it regarding constipation or any of the horror stories you might have heard.

    I don't know why I am taking this so hard.  I still have a chance like you said, But I think a part of me knew I was going to fail.    

    I may send you a message later.  I just have a ton of questions already.  I am going to view this as a wake up call & make better choices.  Totally want some pancakes right about now though.  Lol!!  

     She didn't give me a recommendation yet.  I was at work so I made the call quick.  I am going to call her back tomorrow & see what she says.  I will definitely look out for what you said though.  Nothing worse than beig backed up.

    I am also going to tell her that I will do the 3 hour this Saturday at the Lab near my house.  That way I don't have to take more time off of work & I will get it over with & just know the outcome sooner than later.  I also want to know what my # was.  I was bummed & didn't think to ask. 

     FX I will pass this time around!
