I just wanted to introduce myself.  Last Friday, my RE found an empty gestational sac at 7 weeks. MH and I are devastated. After TTC since 2010, we felt like there was a light at the end of the tunnel and now it has been ripped away from us.

I went yesterday for a repeat u/s, still to find nothing. I am waiting for a call back to schedule a D&C. I feel like I am handling it well, but work has been draining this week. I barely have energy to get up in the morning.  I can't wait for the D&C so we can start emotionally healing.

    I am so sorry for your loss.  Devastating is the only way to describe it.  Be kind to yourself and take it easy.  I had my D&C a week and a half ago, and was also looking forward to it "being over", only to be overwhelmed with grief immediately afterward.  Just let yourself feel what you are going to feel, and take whatever time you need to heal from it.  ((HUGS))

    I am sorry you are going through this.

    This board has been a great way to vent and deal with everything going on with my m/c. Hopefully it is the same for you.

    I'm sorry for your loss :(  It's so incredibly unfair...

    I can definitely relate to feeling drained... it just sucks the life out of you sometimes.  I wish you the best of luck with your d&c.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. Life is so unfair at times and devestating is how felt after my m/c also. This board is very supportive and understanding.

    I am so sorry for your loss.

    This board has been an amazing resource for me - even just knowing there's other people out there has helped... even though it's terrible that there is anyone else in our situation in the first place.

    I'm so sorry for your loss;( It may help to take a couple of days off prior to your d & c. I did and it helped to have that time to grieve and process everything before the surgery. Good luck, if you need us, we are here for you.
