Our little guy was drinking 4oz consistently but I bumped him up to 4.5 and he was still hungry after his last feeding so I gave him another .5oz. Total he drank 5oz. He doesn't normally eat 5oz at every feeding. I don't know if that's considered normal but he weighs around 10lbs already and he'll be 5wks on Monday.
My LO is FF and eats about 7 times a day, typically between 3.75 and 4 oz. Sometimes he gets a top off if he still isn't satisfied. We go to the pedi on Monday, but I think he is somewhere in the 8 lb range. (he was 7 lbs 2 weeks ago)
How about calling your PED and asking. It sounds like everyone is feeling way too much. At our 2 month check up my LO was eating 3 oz every 3 hours and the ped said that was fine. Weight gain was perfect!
My LO is 10lbs and already 22in long. He was eating 4oz at his 2wk check up and the pedi said that was fine. The only thing I can do other then sticking a paci in his mouth which he soon realizes is not food, is to feed him. I just started feeding him 5oz and it's not every feeding. Today he only ate 2-3oz at a time and then this afternoon he ate the whole 5oz. I figure why not mix it all up in one bottle rather then feeding him and him still being hungry just for me to have to try and measure each oz after he's still not satisfied.
