After DS#1 I never believed that it was possible to have a pain free labor but with DS#2 I honestly had no pain till 8 1/2cm. So maybe 45mins and I was still able to talk through the contractions not to mention I was induced for both. Now the birthing was a different story he came flying out in one push! So just wanna incourage anyone one thinking about med free. My 2 experiences were different but were so rewarding in the end.

Did you use hypnobirthing or another type of "pain management" or do you think you were just more prepared from having done it before?

Just more prepared maybe. I kept my oldest son in the room till just before so I think it helped distract and give me focus. But honestly there was hardly any labor pain.
