I saw your deal on paint and DH and I are possibly painting our upstairs soon.  I see that there is a rebate to send in, but do you get the money back in a check or store credit to Menards?

    It's a Menards store credit. They always are. But if you need 2 gallons, for example, buy one now and wait for your rebate to buy the other one.

    We go there all the time and will probably be shopping there more, so I'm not worried. It stinks because I would rather spend it on groceries or something, but it's not the end of the world.

    Where in MN are you?

    North metro.  I am sending DH there this afternoon since I have to work until 2:00 and then we are headed out of town for the weekend.  They carry enough other stuff to spend the store credit on, so that will work just fine.

    I went to the one in Oakdale this morning. Not the closest to my house, but i went with people who were over there. Anyway, it didn't seem like a hot commodity this morning, which was weird, so hopefully there should be some left for you.
