Spinal headache appointment...

So I'm on my way to an appoinwmt for these migraines I've been getting about 3 times a day everyday since LO was born. They said it sounds like spinal headaches from the epidural. If this is the case, they will be doing an epidural blood patch to hopefully stop them. 

Has anyone ever had one if these done before? What are they like? And did it help? Thanks.

    I had a horrible headache and the worst neck pain immaginable right after having my daughter.  They ended up doing the blood patch, which basically felt like an epidural but they also have to draw blood from your hand (that was the worst part for me.. big needle in the hand and they had to do it twice on me).  Hopefully it all works out for you.  They said that the blood patch is 95% effective, so  you should be fixed after.

    I haven't had one but somebody on the April board did and she said it 100% got rid of the headaches and wasn't worse than the epidural, I can't remember who posted it though.
