cheapest price for diapers?

hi all...i am finally through my stash of diapers we built up while i was pregnant.  i have never been a bulk diaper shopper, but am wondering wha the cheapest option is for buying diapers.  case on diapers.com with coupons? amazon? buying the small packs at the store when on sale with a coupon? i also dont belong to costco or anything. and if it helps, i think i am looking for pampers baby dry size 3. it seems to me like diapers.com is a good bet, at least for a first time user with the $10 off.  but i am of course open for other suggestions.  thanks so much!

Re: cheapest price for diapers?

  • best way for you to look at prices is to break it down by price per diaper..... I pay about 23 cents/diaper for Pampers cruisers size 3 at Sam's Club.... it used to be about 19 cents a diaper at Sam's Club for the Pampers swaddlers, but of course the diapers get more expensive as you move up in sizes and the number of diapers gets smaller

  • You have to shop around, and shop the sales. I got a killer deal at Rite Aid recently with coupons, and have ordered from diapers . com and amazon before, too.

I agree.  I rarely buy online because I can get better deals at the stores.  I just stocked up on the diapers we use at Target.  They were on clearence and had a $2 off coupon on the box.  I got them for 0.18/diaper.  I shop at BRU a lot too because they have in-store coupons that you can stack with a manufacturer coupon and I get them for 0.20-0.23/diaper.

  • ok...my 6 month old is probably better at math than me. I feel like I'm doing the price per diap calc wrong. I am looking at Target, $25.99 for 180 Size 3 diapers and I am dividing the cost of the box by the amount of diapers, correct? So that makes it 14cents a diaper? Or am I supposed to be moving decimals or something? Help a dumb mutha out :-/

That's is the correct math.  Sadly we can't use Up&Up.  I tried with both girls and they leak at the crotch.

  • I get mine from Amazon.com.  If you sign up for an Amazon Mom account (It's free) you get better deals plus a free Prime membership that gives you free shipping.  I get a 222 count of regular Pampers baby dry diapers (size 3) for $37.75 or 0.17 each.  Plus the shipments usually arrive in 2-3 days!  Hope that helps.
