XP: maternity belt, any recommendations?

My dr recommended I get a Matermity belt to help with back pain. I'm carrying really low. I bought one. It's a It's Me Babe Mini. It has great reviews amazon. I've been wearing it for a few days and my back pain only seems to be getting worse. Any recommendations?

I bought this one, but I haven't been wearing it regularly. It does seem to help:

I've also noticed my back pain gets worse when I'm doing certain activities like gardening, carrying my daughter around, etc. Maybe you can try and see what activities make your back hurt and try to lessen them?
I'd also recommend a massage!
