This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.
Check in every Monday and Thursday.
New members: Post an introduction and your current TTC status and I will add you to the list! Welcome :-)
Current members: Post your updates, link to your chart, upcoming appointments, prayer requests, and if you get a BFP, please feel free to post here (along with your EDD).
There will be a question, a place for prayer request, and an inspirational verse. We look forward to getting to know you!

Re: ~?*??*?~Ladies In Waiting Check In~?*??*?~
Hello LIW! Welcome to those with recent losses. Sorry you find yourselves here.
Update: I am 8 dpo and waiting to test. I am really anxious this month so may try this weekend even though FF says I should wait until 15 dpo on June 6th. Don't think I can wait that long!
QOTD: Which one of your responsibilities do you wish you could get rid of?
Sometimes it is making the bed. It is something I just don't want to do at 6 in the morning. But, I feel like I should choosing a bigger responsibility so....grading papers. I wish I could invent a machine that would scan the work and based on my predetermined requirements, it would spit out a grade for each student! That would save me hours!
ETA: I am so glad you post this the night before the check in day so I can be part of the conversation as a west coaster who can't really comment during the day. I sometimes feel like I respond to other posts so late that no one reads what I have to say.
BFP #2 - 7/1/12 - Met my lucky charm Alexandra on 3-16-13!!!
Hi ladies. Sorry about the double pic; I have no idea why I can never post a picture!
Update: Nothing much. New cycle - I'm interested in talking to my RE to ask a few questions about options moving forward.
QOTD: I would so drop working. I would put my degrees on a wall and keep it moving! I might hate it, but I sure wouldn't mind the opportunity to find out if that's the case.

Good luck, NBBride! FX for you!
Hi LIW, and welcome to the newest members. I'm now CD82, and still waiting for OBGYN's office to call me back.
I've been better, and calling daily, but no one seems to have an answer for me. I know it's time to look for a new doctor, but not sure where to start...
GTKY: I feel NBBride on grading papers. But I think the job I detest the most is laundry. I can't fold clothes well.
Good luck to everyone who will be testing soon...I'd love to see more graduates!

Thanks! I seriously hope you get an answer soon! 82 days is crazy! BTW - it was very nice to meet you on Monday!
BFP #2 - 7/1/12 - Met my lucky charm Alexandra on 3-16-13!!!
I'm so sorry about CD82
. Definitely look for a new doctor. You deserve answers.
BFP #2 - 10-11-2012 Beta 38, 10-15-2012 Beta 518!.
I'm with you on dropping work. I want to work because I want to, not because I have to!
ETA: What would you do with all that time? I'd love to go back to school full time!
BFP #2 - 7/1/12 - Met my lucky charm Alexandra on 3-16-13!!!
Update: Waiting for another month to start TTC. In the meantime I'm getting back into beach body shape
. I've been doing some crazy workouts and eating much healthier than usual.
QOTD: Folding laundry! Worst.Chore.Ever.
BFP #2 - 10-11-2012 Beta 38, 10-15-2012 Beta 518!.
Right now I am waiting for the bleeding from the miscarriage to stop, and for my HCG levels to get down to zero. Dr says to wait at least two cycles before we start to TTC again, so we're TTA for a little bit. I have another followup appt on monday and bloodwork on Friday.
Question of the day: Which one of your responsibilities do you wish you could get rid of? Goodness, honestly the chores & housework don't really bother me all that much, I actually like things tidy, but I hate changing lightbulbs in the house, its the worst! I am only five feet tall, so its a process, I have to climb on things or get the step stool and I hate it, so it is now my husband's chore, I love my hubby!
No updates this week. Just more waiting (and waiting). I've got 2 months of TTA down now. Somewhere between 1-3 months to go.
QOTD: I hate cleaning up. This definitely includes folding laundry (probably why there are two baskets of CLEAN laundry in my bedroom right now, waiting to be put away). Also: washing dishes, picking up. Bah.
Same here!
BFP#1 - 11/13/11, Natural MC - 12/24/11 at 12 weeks
BFP#2 - 10/2/12, Please be our rainbow.
Good luck to you if you do decide to test early! Just remember that it IS early
And thank BEB for the idea. I always struggled with getting it up early enough on Thursday mornings. (The later it gets in the school year, the harder it is for me to get up anywhere near early!) I realized that she was having success posting it early, so I copied. teehee Glad you get to be a part of the "live" convo this way!

I know what you mean.....I used to leave for work at 6:15 during first semester, now it is 6:30 - even once did 6:40. I am snoozing my alarm far more now. Thankfully I only have 7 more days!
BFP #2 - 7/1/12 - Met my lucky charm Alexandra on 3-16-13!!!
I'm in the 2ww right now. I think my beta will be next week Friday, but I have to count out my days and make sure that's late enough, since I'm apparently prone to late implantation. I've felt positive the last few days, but I'm also afraid that will lead to greater disappointment.
QOTD: Cleaning. I like things to be neat, but hate the process.
I'd totally trade with you. You can clean for me and I'll change your lightbulbs.QOTD: I LOVE my house to be clean but I really don't love to clean. The thing I think I hate most is dusting and vacuuming. With a 21month old our house is a wreck about 20 minutes after I clean it during his nap anyways so Im learning to live with it

Good morning, LIW! Sorry to hear there are so many of us TTA and with wonky cycles
Update on me--nothing really new to report. Still TTA--I'm sick of the bench. Follow up with GI doc tomorrow. Maybe he will have an answer for me and finally a green light??
QOTD-I would definitely get someone to put away the clothes after they are folded and clean. I don't mind the laundry or even the folding--for some reason it's getting them back into the closet and drawers that gets me...
((hugs)) all around!

Hey ladies!
My official status is waiting to get myomectomy scheduled (hopefully today!) that should be next month, then we're on the bench for 3 months to heal up. Then. . . well we have lots of options, might do things the natural way, might up our odds with IUI, might go all out and do IVF, get some embies on ice. I'll probably post something about that. I am 38 so ya know, tick freakin' tock!
GL to everyone in their 2WW!!!!!

QOTD: I hate all household chores. Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, dishes...all of it!
Hi LIW, I'd like to introduce myself. For those who missed my intro to the board a few weeks ago, I lost my baby girl at 21 weeks due to an incompotent cervix on 05/03/12. I was induced to prevent infection. Our next pregnancy I will have to have a cerclage (a stitch placed in my cervix) to hold to baby in.
I am currently still on short term disability to heal physically and for stress leave. I have an appointment next Wednesday and expect to be going back after that. I want to back, I need the structure back in my life again. I am SO bored.
We are current TTA for at least 3 months, so that puts us to around August or September depending when my cycles start to normalize. (Although I am going to ask our OB on Wednesday if there would be any physical benefit to waiting longer to allow my body to be stronger for the next time.)
I am taking this time to get more active and exercise more and to better plan financially for our next try. In order to carry the next child, I may have to go on a significant amount of bed rest and that may get expensive with me not working.

Hello, LIW. Welcome to all the new ladies. I am so sorry for your losses and that you have to join us!
I LOVE the quote today!!! I have really been feeling like this lately.
Update: I finally got in touch with my MFM and my blood work was all normal. So our only plan right now is progesterone when I get a BFP. I am now 8 dpo on our last TTA cycle, so hopefully AF will be here early next week and we will be able to get the show on the road!
QOTD: I dislike most household chores, but I agree with folding and putting away the laundry. It is my least favorite, I think!
Update - waiting to BD still after d&c and also just waiting for first AF... temping now just to see if I ovulate this cycle or not this cycle (they were all wonky right before BFP) so I'm hoping they regulate quickly... Im anxious to TTC again...
Question of the day: Which one of your responsibilities do you wish you could get rid of?
I wish I could stop working! I like what I do, I like (most) people I work with (lol) but I wish I could do something for seriously just the love of it, rathe rthan for the money...
like - work in a pet store with all the cute baby animals!
