MIL vent

My husband and I have been TTC for the past 18 months with one pregnancy that ended as a mmc.  We have been seeing a RE and I started my first cycle of Clomid on Sunday.

Recently we had the chance to go out to visit my MIL for a few days and as she was giving us the tour of her new house she pulled out an old knitting project.  Baby clothes. We changed the subject after a "how nice" kind of statement.  The worst part?  The next day was the 1-year anniversary of the miscarriage.

Oh, and his mom is a marriage and family therapist. She could really use some sensitivity training.

The good thing is that my husband is very supportive and he was just as upset as I was.

mmc 5/19/11, IUI 6/15/12, IUI 7/18/12, BFP 7/8/13! EDD 3/9/14.

    Poor thing .. I have never understood why MIL are sooooo insensative! :(  I could see if she didnt know .. but it sounds as if she knew! .. Hang in there and take some deeeeeep breaths :)
