This baby is how big LOL

So at 41 weeks 2 days DD was 8 pounds.  Had an ultrasound today and this baby is measuring 8 pounds.  Tech said not to worry as it can be off and the baby has a large head so that will throw it off.  She guesses 7.5 pounds?not making me feel any better.  Really I have gained 25 pounds I was only 126 to begin with why are my children big LOL.  Here is to hoping it is wrong because I am not dilated or effaced so this child is not coming anytime soon.

    I feel your pain! I'm 37 weeks 3 days and today my ultra sound showed that my LO was already 8lbs 7oz!! Talk about a big baby! I was 5'7 119lbs before I got pregnant, so I don't know where this huge baby is coming from! I'm sure it will be a fun delivery!

    last week at my ultrasound the tech guessed about 9 lbs. give or take I even heard 10. so i'm a little worried but only have 1 more week (repeat c-section) and I am hoping she is off. I was told with DD that she was going to be a big baby and I think she was just right she was term and was 8 lbs. 4oz.

    How off was the sonogram with your DD?  I am hoping the tech was off because I really want to avoid a c due to scare tissue issues I have from other surgeries.  My Doc said she not want to cut unless the baby won't come out any other way.
